Permit Usage and Pricing
To receive the bulk mail rate you must have a minimum of 200 equal weight pieces. For your convenience we have provided you with some pricing information. The rates below are based on typical mailings and are to be used only as a guide. Pricing may vary depending on your individual mailing. For more information on bulk mail and the USPS rates please visit www.USPS.com.
Our permit number for bulk mail is #5. The Crete Post Office carries a current list of our members for usage of this permit.

*Letters: Letters must weigh 3.3oz or less. A least 150 of the minimum 200 pieces must be addressed to the same prefix (e.g. 60475, 60417, 60401 all have the 604 prefix). Prefixes different from the first 150 pieces, will be charged at 28¢ each. **Standard Postcards: max size: 4"x6" ***Oversized Postcards: larger than 4"x6" |

Group Mailings
Each month the Mainstreet Association coordinates a group mailing to provide our members the opportunity to send out smaller quantity mailings at the bulk mail rate. If your mailing is smaller than 200 pieces and you would still like to receive the bulk mail rate, please bring your pieces to the Crete Park District Office, 515 First Street, by the 1st of the month to participate in our group mailing.
