You may purchase Crete Cash at First United Bank, 700 W. Exchange Street in Crete. Many different denominations are available. Unlike most gift certificates, there is no expiration date on Crete Cash and it can be used at any of the participating establishments in Crete.

Where do I spend Crete Cash?

Crete Cash can be used just like regular cash at any participating Crete business. A list of these businesses will be made available soon.

Why should I buy Crete Cash? Why not just give money?

I am a business owner, how do I accept Crete Cash?

It's easy! Just accept it when a customer brings it in. Just like US Dollars. To receive extra publicity for your establishment let us know that you accept Crete Cash so we can add you to our list of merchants and send you a sign letting your patrons know that you accept Crete Cash. You do not have to be a member of Crete Mainstreet Association to buy or accept Crete Cash!

I am a business owner, how do I redeem the Crete Cash I received?

To redeem the Crete Cash that you have collected at your establishment, simply bring it to First United Bank, 700 W. Exchange Street in Crete. First United Bank will fully reimburse you for the Crete Cash you turn in. You do not have to have an account at First United Bank to be reimbursed for your Crete Cash.
